Eucalyptus is a very potent purifying oil that can assist in clearing any space of negative energy, leaving your home or office calm and bright. Since it has such a pleasant and distinct aroma, it can be peaceful and relaxing. It is a great oil for daily use, and can help to alleviate numerous chest and lung issues for more easy breathing.
Eucalyptus is also a great oil for use in massage, to help increase circulation and warm the body, it has been used to help calm sore muscles after arduous exercise, and for continuous use for the normal onset of aching muscles and joints as we age. Not that we want to hear that, but at least we have some options for what we can do! It happens to most everyone, and we have plenty of oils to choose from to aid with that.
Safety and contra-indications: Overall eucalyptus is very safe. Use caution with rosacea and other conditions like dermatitis.
Child Safety: Do not use in children under 10 years of age especially in the facial area, and after that use diluted at 0.5% or less.
Suggested use: take a designated pan (you can get one second hand, as you do not want to use this to cook with after using it for this...no eucalyptus enchilada for you!) and add 3 drops of eucalyptus, 2 drops fir, 1 drop lavender and 2 drops elemi for a steam, or in a bath or for a massage oil. Remember that you need to use a carrier when you use essential oils in a bath or in a massage oil, as with all other methods of use.
Take care: Do not apply without a carrier such as jojoba, bath salts or any unscented product like lotion or shampoo. Do not use with infants and children without instruction, and if so at a greatly diluted ratio of .5% or less. The recommendation for topical use is from 3 to 5 % for most people. However, take care if you are elderly or are ill. If you have a reaction to it, stop using and immediately contact a medical professional. Not for internal use unless under the guidelines of an aromatherapist. Remember that essential oils and absolutes are 75 to 100 times stronger than the plant they come from, so they are very different than an herbal or other natural preparation.
Each Eucalyptus Bottle Comes in Protective 10ml Amber (UV Blocking) glass essential oil bottle. European Dropper Cap included for easier dispensing.
